The Need For Speed, Strength and Performance

Did you know that 99% of elite baseball players will not make it to the professional baseball ranks.  But did you know that almost 100% of those that do make it performed off-season and in-season strength training.  Your career is dependant on your strength, speed and performance so put in the time to improve on them.  What you do during your "Off-Time" will make or break your baseball career.  If you're serious about pursuing a career in baseball then the Train Solo Baseball Development Program is your serious "Off-Time" opportunity.

The Train Solo Development Program

As a development program it is imperative to take it one step at a time, just another reason why it is best to start this program early in your career-9th grade at the latest.  The focus of the program is quite simply to improve on your weaknesses.  We'll identify the weakness-attack it through training-then move on to the next weakness.  Addressing your weaknesses will improve your overall strength, speed and ultimately your performance.

To be considered for the Train Solo program you must be willing to commit to training on your own at least 3 days per week in your off-season and 2 days per week in-season.  Your first visit will be the Performance Evaluation and will last 2-hours.  After the evaluation, you'll have your first instructional visit.  This visit will include your entire strength training program, nutrition and supplementation protocol.  During the 60-90 minute instructional visit you'll learn how to perform each exercise with correct form and safety.  The end of the first visit is dedicated to learning your nutrition and supplement protocol-it is best if a parent can sit in during this part of the visit.  Once you leave the first visit you be left to complete your program for the next 30-days and return at that point for your second instructional visit to learn your new program for the next month.

Performance Evaluation

Our thorough evaluation includes body composition, flexibility, movement imbalance, muscle imbalance strength and performance testing.

Biosignature Modulation

We utilize the latest in body composition analysis with Biosignature Modulation.  This analysis addresses your body composition by an evaluation of specific sites on the body that relate to specific hormones.  Through a detailed nutrition, supplementation and exercise protocol optimal body composition can be achieved in as little as 4 weeks.

You're body composition will be re-evaluated each visit to Phase X Performance.

Flexibility Analysis

A complete analysis of your upper and lower body flexibility will be examined with special attention on your hip and shoulder.  Identifying what is tight and what is not will allows us to give you a customized flexibility routine to set your body into perfect posture and balance.

Movement Imbalance Testing

Due to the nature of sport and the willingness for athletes to perform specific tasks and skills, athletes often make compensations to get the job done.  These compensations are a weak link and when left alone may lead to serious injury.  Correcting your compensations and developing proper movement patterns are the secret to longevity in sport.  We'll identify your compensations and address them immediately to keep you off the bench.

Muscle Imbalance Testing

The many skills and movements we perform in sport often lead to muscle imbalances between certain muscles groups.  Identifying and addressing these imbalances will reduce your risk of injury, leading to better performance in the gym and ultimately to better performance on the field.

Performance Testing

Our performance testing is a compulation of tests that predict performance capabilities.  Through strength training and correcting movement and muscle imbalances the ultimate outcome will be an improvement in your performance tests.

Instructional Visits

You'll receive one instructional visit each month where we'll teach you the new program and address any changes to nutrition and supplementation.  Each visit will last between 60-90 minutes giving you plenty of time to ask questions and get all the answers you need.

Each program is customized to meet the individuals specific needs-it has to be if you really want to develop optimally and give yourself the best chance to make it.
